Promote your work with Bilingual clients and service users: Do you provide services to a high number of bilingual clients? Go out into your local community on March 6th and let them know.
Celebrate the diversity of your local area: Arrange a competition for service users, parents and families. You could: -
Get involved on Social Media: Tweet, post on facebook or write a blog post. Use the hashtags #ICP2014 and #euSLTday to raise awareness. Share your speech bubbles on instagram!

Put on events: Ask your local MP or decision makers to visit your service and see first hand the work that SLTs do with bilingual clients.
Hold a stall in your local shopping centre or a public place, explaining to the public what SLTs do.
Ask the schools your visit to hold an international communication day, celebrating the different ways we communicate around the world.
