What is Voice Box?9H0A7354

Voice Box is Northern Ireland’s national joke competition for school pupils, designed to raise awareness among children of the fun and importance of communication.

Mainstream and specialist primary and secondary schools in Northern Ireland are invited to enter one joke from their school for the 2016 Voice Box Awards. Schools can support one pupil who wishes to put themselves forward to represent their school, alternatively you can hold a joke-telling competition to find your entry.

Schools should send us their chosen joke by 15 February 2021 and our judging panel will shortlist the 20 best jokes they receive; 10 from primary schools and 10 from post-primary schools. We will invite the shortlisted joke-tellers and their parent, guardian and/or teacher to Parliament Buildings in Stormont on 7 March 2021 for the Northern Ireland final.
